I did a complete refresh on a 2001 Mercedes SLK 320, including the hydraulic top, brakes, engine, headliner, and more.

While the car was, as a car, fully functional, there was a lot to be desired. I had the car for five days and the goal was to get as much done as possible. The main objective was to fully rebuild the hydraulic top.

After the top was fully functional, I reupholstered the headliner and reinstalled all of the trim.

Once the main job was done, I started on the smaller "maintenance" items such as brakes, oils, filters, and a unexpected tail light bulb.

Finally, I thoroughly detailed the car and got to take it out for the night!

Working on the SLK taught me a lot about working on both old cars, and german cars. I had a lot of fun figuring out how to do things myself because documentation was scarce. In the end, I learn tons, had a lot of fun, and made some money!
